Grace Ndegwa is a seasoned investment professional with over 17 years of experience spanning corporate finance, infrastructure finance, private equity, impact investing, and project development. She currently serves as an Investment Officer at the Kenya Innovative Finance Facility for Water (KIFFWA)—a pioneering initiative that mobilizes and de-risks private sector investments in technically and financially viable water and climate-resilient infrastructure projects across Kenya.
At KIFFWA, Grace leads the origination, appraisal, and structuring of early-stage investments that address critical water and climate resilience challenges. Her work plays a key role in unlocking blended finance solutions and advancing sustainable development goals, particularly in underserved regions.
Before joining KIFFWA, Grace held senior roles at Genghis Capital and Standard Investment Bank, where she led transaction advisory and capital-raising mandates for SMEs and infrastructure projects. Her extensive experience in structuring innovative financial instruments and working with both institutional and private investors has established her as a trusted advisor and a passionate advocate for sustainable and inclusive finance.
