Hein has over 20 years’ experience in finance, development banking, and consultancy.
His background is in developing and structuring infrastructure funds and projects. He is presently responsible for fundraising and structuring for the Water Finance Facility (WFF).
Hein was previously a non-executive director at Investment Fund Groningen BV and non-executive director appointed by FMO on the board of Emerging Africa Infrastructure Fund (EAIF). He set up a Singapore based Private Equity (PE) fund focused on investing in water sectors in emerging Asia, and is the founder of CSC Strategy and Finance in Rotterdam. Before starting his own businesses, Hein was managing partner at Ecorys, a leading European research, and consultancy firm.
Hein holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands.
