From 17 to 20 March 2025, you are invited to join the economic mission to Kenya, led by the Minister for Foreign Trade and Development, Reinette Klever. Ingrid Thijssen, Chair of VNO-NCW, serves as the business mission leader.
This mission offers a unique opportunity to learn about Kenya’s thriving market, a leading growth economy in Africa that has grown by five percent annually (IMF). Kenya is a logistical hub for East Africa and seeks sustainable solutions for challenges such as food security, climate-resilient agriculture, soil health, and effective water management.
The Netherlands is already a key trade and investment partner for Kenya, and Dutch businesses are highly regarded for their expertise in these areas. This mission will help you connect with Kenyan stakeholders, gain market insights, and explore opportunities for collaboration.
The programme includes seminars, site visits, networking events, and one-on-one matchmaking sessions. Visits will be in Nairobi, Naivasha, and Nakuru, and will give a comprehensive view of the opportunities in the region.
The Netherlands Enterprise Agency is organising this mission in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Dutch Embassy in Nairobi, Top Sector Horticulture & Starting Materials, Top Sector Agri & Food, and the Netherlands Water Partnership.
