Duncan has 27 years of senior management experience in leading large-scale investment, small and medium sized enterprise (SME) support and infrastructure projects across East Africa. He also has an in-depth understanding of the business and political climate of the region.
Duncan delivered Kenya’s first public private partnership (PPP), attracting investment of close to $290 million as a Chief Financial Officer at Rift Valley Railways.
Besides his role within KIFFWA, Duncan is the Team Leader for the DFID funded Sustainable Urban Economic Development (SUED) Programme. Prior to SUED Duncan was responsible for a $40 million investment portfolio into social enterprises as the East African Director at Acumen Fund.
