Clement Wandera is a seasoned investment professional with over 12 years of experience in development finance, focusing on water (climate) and renewable energy sectors. His role as an Investment Officer involves sourcing, evaluating, structuring, and executing investment decisions for early-stage projects and growth companies within the water sector. He expertly manages various projects, covering sub-sectors such as purified drinking water, hydropower, irrigation, bulk water supply, and waste-to-resource initiatives.
Before joining KIFFWA, Clement served as an Investment Associate at Meghraj Capital Limited, where he supported the M&A Team in executing cross-border mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance transactions. At Britam Asset Managers, Clement was a Senior Investment Analyst, originating and managing investment opportunities in Real Estate and Private Equity.
Clement holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science from Maseno University. He is a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM®) under the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP). Clement is also pursuing the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) certification.
