Carlo Van Wageningen

Carlo has more than 24 years’ experience in the identification, implementation, and creation of new businesses in Kenya, ranging from the manufacturing industry to banking.
As a direct investor in several companies, he acquired a vast experience in start-up ventures. He is also the founder and one of the owners of Africa’s largest wind farm: the Lake Turkana Wind Power (LTWP) project.
Before being an entrepreneur, Carlo was employed by the Fata European Group, as their Director of Operations in Kenya, Ethiopia, and Zimbabwe. And he is, among others, a former Assistant Representative of the Food and Agriculture Organization and the World Food Programme of the United Nations.
Carlo has a degree in Project Management from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and Project Management.
